山东省国际交流合作协会(Shandong Association for International Exchange & Cooperation)英文缩写：SDAIEC
是由山东省人民政府外事办公室主管、省内及国外与国际交流相关的企、事业单位组成的具有独立法人地位的地方性、非营利性的社会团体。
原山东省省长、现任全国人大常委、农村与农业委员会副主任委员的李春亭担任名誉会长,会长由省东省人民政府外事办公室主任张伟龄担任，副会长由省外办徐涛副主任及5名省直部门的领导担任，协会的常务理事由省直主要业务厅局和对外交往工作比较多的部门和单位领导组成，同时增加了部分有影响、有实力，热心国际交流事业，作用发挥突出的企、事业单位人员担任理事。
协会的宗旨是推动和发展山东同世界各国特别是友好城市之间开展交流与合作；促进我省科学技术、文化教育、经济贸易、医疗卫生、社会福利、公益事业等领域的发展；为全省对外开放和现代化建设做出贡献。
协会的主要业务范围是：（一）积极与世界各国及我各友城政府、民间团体、科研机构、著名企业和知名人士沟通联络，建立起良好的交流与合作关系；
（二）为会员单位和我省各界提供国外及友城有关情况，开展咨询，提供信息服务；
（三）向世界各国及我友城宣传我省有关情况，提供各方面的服务；
（四）充分利用资源优势，广开渠道，为我省各行各业走出去，把国外先进经验、技术、资金、人才引进来，提供各种形式的服务，为我省的社会发展和现代化建设做贡献。
山东省国际交流合作协会秘书处设在山东省人民政府外事办公室外事翻译中心，中心主任担任协会秘书长。

Brief Introduction of Shandong Association for International Exchange & Cooperation
Shandong Association for International Exchange & Cooperation, abbreviated as SDAIEC, is a local non-profit social group with independent legal person status, under the administration of the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government (SDFAO) and made up of public institutions and companies that are fully or partly engaged in international exchange in Shandong province and abroad.
SDAIEC has Mr. Li Chunting, former Governor of Shandong Province, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Vice Chairman of Agricultural and Rural Committee as Honorary President. Ms. Zhang Weiling, Director of SDFAO， serves as the President, and Mr. Xu Tao, Deputy-Director of SDFAO and five other officials of government agencies directly under the provincial government work as Vice Presidents. Permanent members are officials from provincial departments and agencies that often conduct communication and exchanges with other countries and regions. And members are government staff and company employees who are interested in international exchanges and capable of playing a roleand outstanding in their positions and have influence on the society.
The purpose of SDAIEC is to promote the exchanges and cooperation between Shandong province and different countries worldwide and between Shandong and sister provinces/cities in particular, to push forward the development of science and technology, culture and education, economy and trade, medical and health care, social welfare and public utilities, so as to make contribution to opening up and modernization drive.
The business scope of SDAIEC is as follows:
1. Tto make proactive communication and contact with government agencies, private groups, R & D organizations, renowned companies and celebrities in countries worldwide and sister provinces/cities, to build good communication and partnership;
2. Tto offer information about other countries and sister provinces/cities forto member organizations and all communities in Shandong, give consultation and information services;
3. Tto improve publications about Shandong and offer various services to enable countries worldwide and sister provinces/cities to be better aware of Shandong;
4. Tto make full use of existing resources, explore new channels and offer various services to take trades of Shandong abroad and bring in expertise, advanced technology, human resources and fund from other countries, so as to make contribution to social development and modernization drive of Shandong province.
The Secretariat of SDAIEC is set in Translation Center of Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People’s Government and the Director of the Center serves as the Secretary-General of the Association.
